Shri Vallbhbhai Vaghasiya, Hon'ble Minister of State, Agriculture, Urban Housing, Gujatat State visited JAU campus on July, 1st, 2017 and observed Education, Research and Farmers oriented extension activities. He also visited various Departments viz; Food Testing Laboratory, Bio-control lab, Dept. of Entomology and Pathology, FM Radio Station and Directorate of Students Welfare.

     Hon'ble Minister appreciated all the activities carried out by JAU, especially production of Bio control medicines, fungicide and bio insecticides for the benefit of farmers. Hon'ble Minister was welcomed with presenting a memento by Dr. A.R. Pathak, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, in the presence of Dr. V.P. Chovatiya, Director of Research, Dr. A.M. Parakhiya, Director, Extension Education and Dr. P.V. Patel, Director, Students' Welfare.
